The Privilege Pre-Amplifier is an innovative mono-bloc construction developed in collaboration with an internationally acclaimed designer. It has been built to the highest mechanicalquality standards and with a casing created by specialised subcontractors from the Swiss “Watch Valley”. Moreover, the Pre-Amplifier has been crafted from a homogeneous 100 kg cast aluminium block and processed specifically to obtain a unified shape and a pure and natural aluminium colour. The Orpheus Privilege Pre-Amplifier demonstrates the outcome of merging creative mechanical design with outstanding audio technologies.
The electronic design of the Privilege Pre-Amplifier has been completely reviewed and improved. The engineers at Orpheus have only kept the basic principle behind the preamplifier, but all the rest, most significantly, the design has been entirely revised. The signal path is completely symmetrical which requires more components and increases the difficulty of development however, most significantly for the end user, it results in improved sound quality.
